How It All Began

I fell in love with Ljubljana 💕 during high school when I started visiting the city. We’d take the train 🚂 to the legendary K4 club 🎶, grab a pizza burek 🍕, and head back to Zagreb on the same train. I remember thinking for the first time, “I could live here.” 🏙️

Love eventually brought me to Ljubljana, where I lived for 12 years. It was there that I wrote my best music and the novels “Afra” and “The Secret of the Dragon Bridge.” I would go to write my columns in the legendary Žmavc, where Ljubljana’s urban life took place, and across the road was Konopljarna and a little further on, Extravaganje.

The cannabis culture in Ljubljana fascinated me 🌱✨, and I started exploring its properties and benefits. For example, cannabis receptors are passed on through breast milk 🍼—this incredible connection, rooted in the endocannabinoid system, completely captivated me.

When I became ill 💔, my friends—now the owners of PharmaHemp—supported me with their hemp and CBD products 🌿💊. 

After moving back to Zagreb, they sent me a line of skincare products one day 🧴. I told them I would only give my feedback after using them for three months ⏳.

One day, I called them and said, “What is this? My skin has never looked better—this is genius!” 🌟😍 

And so, the idea for a collaboration was born 💡, bringing joy to both sides 🥰. 

I’d always dreamed of having my own brand ✨, and now I felt a strong desire to stand behind this product. 

I like to imagine myself as a Kintsugi bowl 🪷—the Japanese art of repairing ceramics, where the beauty comes from the visible stories and experiences of the piece.
